babies everywhere!

One of my dearest friend is going to give birth to a baby boy (Ford James Gregson) tomorrow. It's freaking me out, in a great, beautiful way.

Steve and I have had the "talk" about babies, about a year ago, saying pretty much, hey we're cool if it happens, it'll be totally awesome and not " holy crap ARGHH ".

I totally have baby fever, and Im sure that when I meet Ford tomorrow it's not going to help..

So whenever God blesses us with a child, it will be the best thing ever.

I cannot wait to see the "mix" of Steve and I. What the baby will look like, what maneurism will he have...etc etc.

Im so mad I will not be able to go see "the nightman cometh" since Ill be in Canada. I seriously want to cry.

kind of odd but..

I really want MAC to come out with a yellowy-coral lipstick so I can wear it with deep,dark violet nail polish.

We came out with a new launch at MAC and it gave me the opportunity to discover this rad photographer.

She does extreme close ups, almost uncomfortable to look at.

Everything is drenched, there's glitter and alot of different textures. I think it's awesome that MAC, being so big and so rich, doens't have to "keep it real" and work with real artists/different medias, but they still do.

Here's a few of my favorite pictures, some of them are the from the new Tom Ford ad campaign.

I love mid 90s mystery/court drama movies starring either, James Woods, Dustin Hoffman, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman and so on.

We saw Inglorious Basterds tonight and it was AWESOME.

Go see it.

Quentin Tarantino never really disappoints.

The actor who plays Hans Landa (sp?) deserves an oscar nomination.

The way he was patronizing and condescending towards the other character was portrayed with the finesse of a bulldozer but never lost its appeal. I wonder what other movies he's been in..

holy crap. I dont know if anyone still reads this but I havent updated in such a long time.

Everything is pretty good, we're all alright.

Still at MAC , managing and such, which is pretty good, but mild levels of stress.

Im going to Canada, precisely Quebec and Ill be visiting all my friends, family and such. Im very excited about seeing them, not so stoked on the plane ride. Last plane ride traumatized me.

I know I'll be alright, I have to trust God.

Ive been working out alot and it's good to get my body back. Steve is going to build me a road bike so we can go on urban adventures together. Pretty freaking sweet.

We still want to move to Portland, Or.

I've been ill for the past 2 weeks.

It never really happened to me before. Ill get sick, 2 days, and then I get better and it's gone. 

I think I have bronchitis. 

As much as I tried to put it off, and try to get better on my own, I think I need antibiotics and need to go see a doctor, which I will do tomorrow morning. I just deeply dislike hospitals, waiting rooms and doctors. 

Oh well, if that's all it takes to get better, I guess it's worth it.

 I got promoted at work. Im now part of the management team!

I've worked very hard and kept focus for the past 2 years.

This is going to be such a great and enriching experience. 

I bought the sewing machine!!! So stoked. Will start posting lil' things I do !

I have a familly in Nanaimo, which I guess is not too far from the city, so that'd be great.  I hear it's very urban, artsy and clean.  

Maybe a nice spring vacation?

Im glad it's over.

I love fall. 

Cold fingers, drinking coffee. I like boots and wearing scarves. I like rosy cheeks and cosy night-ins.

I want to go to Vancouver.

feathers everywhere

I've been wanting to work with feathers for a long time. I love 40s head pieces.
This is what has inspired me for my new "collection" for Mata Hari (my lil jewelry line). I'm thinking about going to bridal shops and selling those. (maybe not as colorful and with a birdcage veil for brides...)

8 months later

I am going to come on here more and more. 

I am pretty tired and always fatigued. I need to get more Vitamin B in my body. And Iron. 

And I'd like a 1 month vacation from work. That would be amazing. 

I would:

-Take Steve with me and visit Portland (Or), Vancouver (BC), Toronto (again).

-Spend more time making and selling my jewelry.

-Freelance with photographers to thicken my portfolio

-Make some clothes, like cute floral 40s inspired dresses.

-Go to more shows. I miss going to shows. Good shows.
